ITSO
ESP is a member of ITSO and has been so since it's inception. Accredited to ITSO specification Version 2.1.3 ESP currently holds the most comprehensive ITSO certification of any supplier which is illustrated in the comparison table that can be accessed by following the link below.
ESP sit on the I2F(ITSO Integration Forum,) and have done since it's formation, helping to technically shape and validate the specification moving forward.
ITSO's interest is the security of smartcards, products and transaction data between inter-operable schemes. Whilst ITSO does not run schemes, provide equipment or influence commercial agreements, it does provide an environment for schemes to operate in and enjoy that security.
ITSO was formed to build and maintain a specification for secure 'end to end' inter-operable ticketing transactions, utilising relevant ISO and emerging CEN standards.
ITSO is a Member controlled organisation that maintains the ITSO Specification for it's Members and also the Crown, which holds the copyright.
The Membership of ITSO is broadly based and includes PTE's, Local Authorities, Passenger Transport Operators and Suppliers of equipment, systems and services.
